Become an Alumni.  The goal of Alumni membership is to utilize the experience, knowledge and energies of those who would like to step back from active patrolling, while allowing continued support of the Patrol, Region or Division, extending to them the recognition, dignity, and awards they have earned.​

They are individuals who are no longer actively patrolling but remain dues-paying NSP members and are still eligible to receive NSP member benefits.

Put another way, you folks have years of Practical Experience that is invaluable to up-and-coming patrollers. Please consider transferring that knowledge to our next generation! While equipment and techniques may change, caring, compassion, confidence and understanding are a constant. From Minnie Dole to this day!  Pay it forward. We need you. Our recruits need you!
