<p><strong>This notice is a call for the nomination of candidates for the position of the New<br>Jersey Region Director.</strong><br></p>



<p>The Region Director is responsible for the administrative direction of the New<br>Jersey Region including the coordination of region meetings, the management of the<br>region officers, and the creation of governing committees. The Director represents the<br>New Jersey Region as a member of the Eastern Region Board of Directors.<br></p>



<p>If you wish to nominate a candidate or to be considered for this position, please<br>e-mail Jeff Jablonski by Monday, June 1, 2026 at 9:00 p.m. For yourself or for the candidate you<br>nominate, please include your or the candidate&#8217;s: (1) name, (2) e-mail address, (3)<br>telephone number, and (4) a brief Patrol history because the pertinent by-laws that<br>govern our Region are specific as to the qualifications necessary to serve in this<br>capacity.<br></p>



<p>This call will be closed at 9:00 p.m. on June 1, 2026, and the candidates will be<br>notified of their eligibility shortly after that date. Please be advised that no write-in<br>names on the day of the election are permitted, nor will they be considered.<br></p>



<p>The election shall take place at each New Jersey OEC Refresher.<br></p>

<p style="font-size:25px">3. Log in.</p>



<p style="font-size:25px">4. Click “<strong>Center for Learning</strong>&#8221;</p>



<p style="font-size:25px">5.&nbsp;“<strong>Go To Your Learning Center</strong>” (middle blue button)</p>



<p style="font-size:25px">6. Click on &#8220;<strong>Completed</strong>&#8221; (between &#8220;Current&#8221; and &#8221; Submissions&#8221;)</p>



<p style="font-size:25px">7. Click on &#8220;<strong>View Certificate</strong>&#8221; next to the &#8220;2022 OEC Refresher Cycle C Online Modules&#8221; (see image below)</p>

<p style="font-size:25px">It will open a new tab and in the upper right there is a download icon (downward pointing arrow over a line) next to a printer icon. Click the download icon and save. Note where you saved it and email the pdf to your refresher IOR</p>

<p style="font-size:25px">8b.&nbsp;<strong>If you have a Mac:</strong></p>



<p style="font-size:25px">After the certificate pops up, go up to task bar to “File” and the pull down menu and click on “save as” and file in documents. Email the pdf to your refresher IOR</p>
